Let’s just forget about the most beautiful people for once and focus on the ugliest people in the whole world. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and so is ugliness, but when there are many eyes looking at someone as ugly, it becomes a more common opinion.
There are definitely some countries notoriously uglier people than others. In Africa, for example, there are people who are known to have uglier people than beautiful ones. This is because you have a higher concentration of people from that country that doesn’t appeal to the eyes of many viewers from there and elsewhere.
African countries with the ugliest people
Honest answer? It’s a bit hard to say for sure. There is an annual award for the most beautiful people in Africa and in the last of 48 participating countries, Kenya came last with only 7 points out of a possible 540! The first ugliest runner-up was Zambia, the second was Gabon. It’s bad enough being called ugly, but it’s a whole lot when other people are consensually called ugly.
Kenyans have received the award for being voted Africa’s funniest and ugliest people at least twice. Among the 48 participating nations that took part in the annual Most Beautiful People of Africa Awards, one of which was held at the Gregor Theater in Bloemfontein, South Africa, Kenya took last place for the most beautiful people, edging out Zambia and taking the top spot Title back from 2000.
Rwanda then took the lead, followed by Cameroon and Ethiopia in second. The judges gave points based on appearance, grooming, presentation and communication, among other things.
However, the subjectivity involved in evaluating the world’s and Africa’s ugliest people has made it unfair to call a country the ugliest people that populate it. Every country has beautiful and not so beautiful people. It also depends on what other countries think is beautiful. The winner of the Beautiful People of Africa award was Rwanda, followed by Cameroon and Ethiopia.
The country with the ugliest people
All over the world, Brits are considered to be among the ugliest people on earth. This is according to a report evaluating listings on an exclusive website (beautifulpeople.com) that only allows what it describes as “beautiful people”.
“We don’t try to define beauty, but members provide an accurate idea of what society considers beauty,” said Greg Hodge, CEO of Beautiful People.
He further explained that applicants have a higher priority than others when assessing whether they can join the judgments of people from their country.
Figures showed that men from the UK, Germany, and Poland are the most unattractive and ugly people in the world. Sweden, Brazil and Norway were the most successful applicants and turned out to be the most beautiful countries overall. Why are the Brits considered the ugliest people in the world? “I think there’s less of a focus on appearance in the UK than overseas. When you travel to some countries they are very interested in how you look – very healthy and body conscious. “
