Police seek woman after alleged Napier hit-and-run

Police are appealing for help finding a woman after an alleged hit-and-run in Napier last week.

The incident at about 6pm last Thursday saw a Mazda Astina hit a woman in the front yard of a Wyatt Ave address.

The impact pushed the victim into a tree. The vehicle left the scene but was later found on nearby Dockery Ave.

Police believe the car was involved in a collision with another vehicle parked on Wyatt Ave and another on Roberts Terrace shortly before the victim was struck.

A warrant to arrest has now been issued for Nastashia Edwards in connection with the incident.
